Spring Favorites: Beauty Edition

Hello, darling readers!

I feel like I should take this time to catch up with you for a moment. How have you been? It’s been entirely too long since I posted (chalk it up to being a full time student, working every day this week and planning my wedding). I have a lot of posts coming your way, though, so be prepared. If you like my outfit of the week posts, get stoked because I’ve got one of those coming to you, another fitness update (it’s a work in progress..my fitness, that is), and plenty more! I only wish I had more time in the day to do everything I want to!

BUT GETTING BACK TO THIS POST since this is why I wrote it:

Now that Valentine’s Day has wound down, it’s time to talk about what’s really exciting. SPRING!!! Spring is just about here (well I mean..it’s still snowing in Idaho but most everywhere else is springy) and that means 3 things: pastel colors, pretty flowers and my wedding. Bring it on, spring 2016.Screen Shot 2016-02-14 at 3.52.55 PM.png

Because pink is my all time favorite color, I decided to show you my top five favorite pink things for Spring: Beauty.

Butter LONDON Nail Lacquer, $15

I really like this nail polish.  This particular shade is: Teddy Girl. I got it in one of my Birchboxes last year and I really love it. I don’t like loud colors on my fingernails (typically I just have nude colors or a french manicure) but I actually liked this one. It’s perfect for spring.

Clarisonic Mia 2 Garden Party Skin Renewal Set, $149 ($201 value)

This is an incredibly good deal. First of all, you save $52, so it would be a crime NOT to buy it, right? This is what the set contains:
– Mia 2 Facial Cleansing Device
– Sensitive Brush Head (installed)
– Complimentary Radiance Brush Head
– 3.4 oz Skin Renewing Peel Wash
– White Protective Case
– Universal Voltage pLink Charger

It is one of the best ways to clean your face and exfoliate at the same time. My favorite feature is the timer. It buzzes when you should switch to a different part of your face.

Dior Addict Lip Glow, $33

I have talked about this lipstick before in this article. I can’t possibly rave about it anymore. I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it……need I say more? I have two shades, sheer pink coral and pink. They just came out with a new shade (lilac) and I will have to add that to my collection sometime soon.

Milani Rose Power Blush, $7.99

Besides being totally beautiful (both in color and in packaging), this blush is awesome. The best color, in my opinion, is Romantic Rose. It is matte and smooth and blends out easily. Don’t get me wrong, I will always love my Tarte blushes the best, but for my ladies on a budget? It doesn’t get better than this.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Shower Gel, $25

I love Philosophy (the company and all their products). I especially love the Amazing Grace scent, plus it helps that it’s pink. This product is really neat because it is a three-in-one: shampoo, bath and shower gel. I don’t use it as shampoo all that often (because I already have a shampoo that I love) but I do occasionally and have found it works really well.

Well ladies, that is my spring favorites round up for beauty. I’ll be doing one on fashion and decor in the coming weeks, so keep a look out.

I hope you all had an amazing Valentine’s Day, and were treated the way you deserve (either by your loved one or yourself). This is what I wore Sunday (would you believe Adam picked it out for me? Best birthday present ever!). I told you guys this is my FAVORITE hairstyle. We don’t really go all out for Valentine’s Day (we believe love should be celebrated every day, not just once a year) but we had a wonderful day all the same, just like always. My fiancé is the best.

I hope you guys liked this post and found something you new you’d like to try. Let me know what your favorites and go-tos are in the comments, and be sure to like my Facebook page and follow me on instagram (links in the side bar)!
